If use of a kitchen is what you seek, a microwave and fridge would do just as well! Again, nice staff.Īlthough a decent place to stay, for over $* per night, you should really get a better and bigger space than this. Powdered eggs, sausage, toast, waffle, etc. The continental breakfast lacked any real diversity. It required quite some time to drain between use. The shower was decent but the drain was not working even after maintenance came.

Maid service was very good (except for 1) though, so we tipped. We found additional linens for the pull out couch in the closet upon arrival but no pillows available unless requested. The bed appeared to be closer to a full size rather than a queen sized bed and the pull out couch was flat and uncomfortable. Didn't expect a full kitchen but I have stayed in other suite hotels that have been much bigger and more convenient than this one was. Trying to cook on an electric stovetop in a kitchen that had minimal counter space and limited kitchenware resulted in going out to eat more often than not.

The Residence Inn in Independence accepts pets, has quiet hallways, offers a coin-op laundry for $* per load (whether wash or dry), and is clean, but the parking lot is short on space and the room we had was way too small for the cost! The room even felt cramped after putting a table in the closet and pushing the armchair into a corner.Ĭould have reserved 2 rooms at another hotel (with a microwave and mini-fridge) for the same cost and gotten better results for the 3 of us.
